“What has happened in Haiti is devastating and hundreds of thousands of little lives are left hanging in the balance. The dinner will be a fantastic event and a real opportunity to help kids with swiftness and generosity,” said event organiser Sarah Cotter.

The money raised at this dinner will go directly to Haiti for immediate emergency supplies as well as the long term recovery effort. We are committed to addressing the immediate needs of children and families and making sure they have a brighter future ahead,” said Save the Children Chief Executive Liz Gibbs.

To date, Save the Children New Zealand has raised over $700,000 for Haiti.
